About the event

Able to be attended by anyone who has purchased valid and current memberships. If you would like to drop-in, please note that you need to register yourself, as space is limited. Drop in fee is $5 per person. Children 7 and under are free.

So many more children are being diagnosed with skin problems and allergies these days, than ever before. When a child suffers from eczema, whether it be mild, moderate or severe, it's always so hard for us as parents to know exactly how to help them recover quickly and most effectively. There are so many suggested "remedies" and concoctions out there that can be circulated, without really understanding the root of the issue and how to handle it. Run by a mom (who is also one of our doulas), who herself has struggled with lifelong eczema, and also who has two children who have the auto-immune disorder as well, this is a place where evidence-based information is brought, discussed and general moral support is able to shared as well between parents in this situation.

As with all of our groups, we do not tolerate any discriminatory behavior or remarks whatsoever against any person or group. Those who violate this safe space may be asked to stop attending the group in the future, if an appropriate resolution is not achieved. We encourage you to reach out for more in depth help and support for any specific issues you might be struggling with in regards to feeding, through either our staff or our group moderators, at any time!
